New for 2016 – 52 Exciting Things!

Happy new year to you all! – Bliadhna Mhath Ùr dhuibh uile! Have a great 2016 from Misty Isle Tours!

Portree-Winter-MorningToday we are excited to launch a new venture for Twitter and Facebook… In fact we are launching FOUR exciting new ventures rolled into 1 to give you regular doses of the Scottish Highlands! You’re welcome!

Every Monday in 2016 we will post a #52Charms hashtag highlighting 1 of 52 great reasons why you really need to make the Scottish Highlands (and particularly the Isle of Skye and Lochalsh area) your next holiday destination. These will include a selection of features of the area that are, quite simply, charming!
Every Wednesday in 2016 we will post a #52Creatures hashtag highlighting one of the many reasons so many wildlife enthusiasts visit the Highlands: There is plenty to be found here to keep any wildlife enthusiast happy – whether you are looking for the kind that flies, swims, walks or even slithers!
Every Friday in 2016 we will bring you some interesting (and sometimes amusing!) cultural highlights using a #52Culture hashtag. These will include insights into Highland culture and some gems from the Gaelic language which will prove helpful for any visitor to the Highlands!
Finally, each Saturday in 2016 we’ll end the week with the #52Celebrity hashtag. These are mostly just a bit of fun! There will hopefully be a nice mixture: Some celebrities with very strong Highland links and association, coupled with some slightly more ‘tenuous’ and humorous links!

We hope that you will enjoy the content throughout the year and that there will be something for everyone whose heart is in the Highlands. Remember, to receive these regular updates you will need to follow Misty Isle Tours on Twitter or Facebook. And please do spread the word by liking and sharing the posts!
